During a visit to London’s House of Leonard salon, famed stylist Leonard of Mayfair asked to try his new cropped haircut on her.

Though unsure, Twiggy felt too intimidated in the posh salon to refuse. She returned the next day and spent seven hours cutting, coloring, and reshaping her hair. The result?
