Legal organizations, press unions, and watchdogs should prepare for potential policy or regulatory retaliation, not after it arrives, but now. And finally, journalists must double down on verification, transparency, and courage. When power threatens the press, the most powerful answer is to keep reporting — fearlessly, visibly, and together.
